ELASTOKOR is a specially developed polymer composition for effective plugging of pores and channels to reduce drilling fluid losses.
The product forms an elastic, durable filter cake on the wellbore wall, stabilizes the wellbore and reduces formation permeability, which helps reduce lost circulation and improve wellbore wall stability in difficult geological conditions

Application and Dosage Recommendations
Recommended loadings of ELASTOKOR as a sealing material are 2–8 kg/m³ of drilling fluid, depending on formation geology, the nature of washouts/vugs and the mechanical bridging and settling (particulate) materials used
- For maximum effect, it is important to ensure even distribution of the product in the drilling fluid and, where necessary, to combine it with other bridging agents, adapting the system to the specific formation and drilling conditions
Packaging and Storage Conditions
ELASTOKOR is packed in 25 kg bags. Store in dry, warm rooms away from moisture and heating appliances, preventing wetting and mechanical damage to the packaging
Safety Requirements
Appropriate personal protective equipment must be used when handling ELASTOKOR: protective gloves, safety glasses and, if necessary, a respirator. Read the product Safety Data Sheet before use and strictly follow its requirements for handling, storage and disposal

ELASTOKOR is designed for use at temperatures up to 180 °C, which covers a wide range of drilling and workover conditions, including high-temperature wells. When designing the system, the actual temperature profile should be taken into account and, if necessary, the dosage and the combination with other bridging agents adjusted based on laboratory test results
In most cases the best effect is achieved by combining ELASTOKOR with mechanical bridging agents and settling (particulate) materials, with particle size distribution selected to match the pores and fractures. ELASTOKOR forms the elastic polymer fraction of the filter cake, while the mechanical bridging agents fill the larger channels, resulting in a multi-layer, reliably sealing system for lost circulation reduction and wellbore stabilization
